Tonight:

Garlic sesame boneless baby-backed ribs (my own creation ) grilled over mesquite charcoal and thyme, baked potatoes (cooked over rock salt), romaine salad, sourdough bread.

Last night:

A very good sausage and fennel pizza from the new gem-of-a-restaurant in Clayton, La Veranda, preceded by bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizers, and followed by coffee and chocolate. (If you're in the SF East Bay this is a superb find; excellent food well prepared and costs about half what you'd find in the City).

Tomorrow night's supper will be much more pedestrian.....
