Hiddy,

With all due respect, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and no basis for that statement. I am far from the most vocal and yet personally cut off BA after my final itinerary which put me over my Gold Card last year. I do this because the GC is so powerful to me while I am flying domestically in the US - and that's it. I then redirected my travel and tested out a few other carriers to prep for an eventual move. I did this as a result of the move of TLV to T1. I was thrilled to be moving back to T5, but my last trip through for the first time on BA I actually did not eat in the lounge because it appeared so revolting (and now I find out it may have been lucky!)

BA has to be better than others because of all the issues with LHR. Weather, circling the skies of london, strikes, APD, etc. They can't just be the same.

BA has absolutely lost some revenue from me in 2013, and I suspect I am not the only one.
