Figured I would ask, before I just paid the additional fee (which isn't that horrible, but was curious if I would make use of the Privium ClubLounge).
You only have access to the KLM lounge when travelling on SkyTeam and a select few other partner airlines. You can acces the Privium lounge regardless of which airline you are travelling with a Privium Plus membership.
The basic Privium membership allows you to use the fast border passage machines (iris scanners) so you don't have to queue up to present your passport to the Marechaussee. Additionally, if you are a Dutch passport holder, Privium membership allows you to sign up for FLUX, a similar fast border passage for the US.
SkyTeam Elite Plus status does not get you fast border passage in either the US or NL.
