I too have been waiting a total of about 6 weeks now. The 4506-T form that came in the mail, came 3 weeks after the date printed on the letter... Not sure how that happens!
Also make sure they've received your email and accepted it. I was busy and forgot to call after sending the scan back to them. I sent it jpeg though and they said it needs to be re-sent PDF. Couldn't have called me to tell me that....
