I'd love to know some circumstances. I have about 250,000 miles logged on JetBlue over the past four or five years.
In my experience, when there's a delay where JetBlue is at-fault, more than half the time I have an e-mail waiting on my phone by the time I land showing the credit they're giving us. In fact there were times where a small credit was given ($25 or $50) where I completely didn't expect it.
My experience has always been the exact opposite of your post.
