When TD and CIBC offer fee waiver and bonus to new sign ups, they'd need to be ready for a flood of existing customers or those that got sold/transferred, who are angry they don't get the same. TD and CIBC will have a choice to offer those people the same bonus, or face a flurry of cancellations and re-applications. If they don't approve, be prepared to lose a lot of customers.

It's interesting to see several other CC's all coming out with ads, trying to attract customers who don't like the uncertainties, and don't like aeropeso's lack of seats of scamcharges.
