Hell might actually have frozen over because Gothenburg now finally has a hotel who is making a dash at calling itself a luxury hotel.
This place is
Upper House which is located on the 5 upper floors (49 rooms) of the Mid-tower in the
Gothia Towers hotel and conference complex.
I have not stayed there overnight but I've had an opportunity to see the rooms and eaten at their 25th floor restaurant where the head chef is openly admitting that their ambition is a Michelin star in the first year.
If you're passing by Gothenburg and want to stay in the most exclusive hotel possible in the city, Upper House should be your first pick without a doubt.
Sorry for sounding like a press release, but I'm actually excited that my city is finally getting a hotel of this caliber.
