I'm a pretty regular flyer and have used Qatar for years (mix of biz and economy depending on what I'm doing). Anyway these days Etihad could serve me at least as well and I would make the switch immediately if Etihad would give me the equivalent frequent flyer status. I'm a top tier member with Qatar (was gold, just changed to Platinum under new system).

Does anyone know if this kind of thing is a possibility?
