Only smoking rooms available at hotel in lowest category, to book or not to book?

Need to book a three night stay in Seoul, South Korea in a couple of weeks. Planned to use SPG points. My first choice, the Sheraton D Cube City, only has smoking rooms available at the base level. I can live with a smoking room but would strongly, strongly prefer to avoid. I am Platinum so would likely get an upgrade, but SPG's booking process doesn't seem to show anywhere to put in special comments, and I'm guessing if I booked a smoking room that the property would assume (rightly for the most part) that I wanted a smoking room and would not upgrade me to a nonsmoking room. The W Walkerhill currently has nonsmoking rooms available, but it's location is not as convenient. Other hotels are more than I'm willing to pay (Westin Chosun) or same inconvenient location (Sheraton Walkerhill). Any ideas what to do? I would much prefer to stay at the Sheraton but want to avoid the smoking rooms if at all possible.
