Haha. Visa stopped new merchants from using DCC in the Asia Pacific, so hopefully the same thing will happen in Europe.

You obviously won't experience it but the USA is the worst for DCC. Restaurants especially, they don't even show the DCC on the receipt and when you get your statement you find out they charged you in GBP. I almost always use my Amex in restaurants in the US as it always works out cheaper, even with the Forex fee.
