In theory, an airline route is meant to serve potential passengers living in both cities. What groups of passengers go to Toronto/rest of Canada, originating from Palm Beach. What percentage of passengers on this route, are from the Florida area, as opposed to the percentage that are Canadians?
PS- In terms of commenting on Shareholder's comments about this being a high revenue route for AC, maybe I contributed to its revenue. I went there for a conference. In that particular medical conference, there were at least 20 other Canadians, out of 200 in all. Most like me, stayed only 48 hrs, and paid H class fare. I guess that AC would have made some profit, on that fare. Obviously, I upgraded - probably, there would have been no significant impact on AC's bottom line, of my sitting in the business class cabin?
