The outcome of the inspection and the score on the door must be notified to the business operator by the local authority within 14 days of the conclusion of the inspection. The business operator then has 14 calendar days from the date of notification in which to lodge an appeal. If no appeal is lodged then the score is published after the 14 day appeal period. If an appeal is lodged then the score is published once the appeal has been determined. If the appeal is successful and the score is revised then the revised score is published. If the appeal is unsuccessful then the orioginal score is published.
