Unfortunately humans being what they are......you'd be surprised what goes on behind closed doors in the catering trade. Even in well rated food establishments.
I'm sure we've all been guilty of picking a dropped food item up off the floor, inspected it, cleaned the fluff off then shoved it on the plate.
