I renewed my insurance 2 days ago so happen to have the policy (which arrived today) in front of me.

Under General Exclusions, it specifically states "This policy excludes any claim arising from:
1. Any consequence of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution,
insurrection or military or usurped power.
Terrorism/a terrorist act. This section does not apply to section B Personal Accident or to section E – Medical and Emergency Expenses
except where nuclear, chemical or biological weapons/agents are used".

So it does cover personal accident and medical (including repatriation for medical reasons) for terrorism but nothing else, i.e loss of possessions etc.
