Since there (still) doesn't seem to be any airport-specific forums here on FT, I don't know where else to ask this question:

It's been a year or two since I've been in the position of bringing dutyfree liquor back from the US (LAX) into YYZ *and* connecting to a flight to YXU.

Are we still in stupid-crazy-security mode when it comes to being able to bring duty free onward as carry-on for connecting flights within Canada - as in it's still not really possible / allowed?
