Yes, I had heard he wasn't quite the hero that he is idolized as. There are lots of photo's of him about though, so a small part of the population must still treat him as a kind of 'deity'.

Thanks. I was a bit nervous before going, but felt relatively safe when I was there. Mr. Aleem with the AK-47 helped with that too.
