Truva (Troy) is a day-trip. It's decent, nothing ground breaking.

Gallipolli... its relevant to those of A/NZ decent. I was the only American on the tour. Outside of the historical aspects, its not particularly thrilling



Now that that's out of the way, I've also got a trip back to Istanbul next week. I've seen most of the "major" attractions, so this one will be dedicated to either photography, or special-interests (i.e. a very specific theme, e.g. tracing the walls of constantinople, or visiting less-famous mosques).

can someone suggest a similar kind of theme for this day trip?
