Serving drinks one minute and full blown emergency for the next 20 until the medics take over. The pilot must have had to been removed from the cockpit and layed out at the entrance for you do not have any space for CPR. Also, it's not easy to do CPR for over two cycles unless you have other trained people who can relieve you. Be trained in first aid and help when you can.
This is the truth, you could train someone to do check compressions after you get exhausted for by that time they would have had broken ribs/sternum much of the time. Not a stress free time to tell someone what to do, but I have heard of it happening. I have luckily never had to give CPR but my dad teaches it. I have heard of people telling others who aren't certified how to do it after they tire to exhaustion.
