the entereing downtown photo in HKG was actually on the outskirts, still a ways to HK island, you can see hotel l'nina in Tsuen Wan in the background....it's the tallest buidling...
The 2-3-2 configuration certainly makes it look so.

That hotel building is the tallest in that district of Hong Kong, but not the tallest in the city.
