Long story, but my Directv is messed up and Mrs. Reds and I are both out of town for a few days and I will miss a lot of the shows in the DVR queue and have two long flights coming up and was thinking of just paying for the GOGO and watching the shows I will miss inflight on the CBS and NBC apps in flight.

I don't want to waste my money if the speed will be too slow, but have no problems spending the money to the GOGO on those flights since I'm planning on asking Direct for a credit anyway.

Has anyone had good luck watching tv shows on the IPAD network apps?

Thx.
Gogo throttles the speed to prevent users like you from killing everyone else's download speeds. "Similarly, customers should expect slower speeds for commercial file sharing applications after downloading 8 MB within an hour, and for web browsing and secure applications after downloading 30 MB within an hour."
