Long story, but my Directv is messed up and Mrs. Reds and I are both out of town for a few days and I will miss a lot of the shows in the DVR queue and have two long flights coming up and was thinking of just paying for the GOGO and watching the shows I will miss inflight on the CBS and NBC apps in flight.

I don't want to waste my money if the speed will be too slow, but have no problems spending the money to the GOGO on those flights since I'm planning on asking Direct for a credit anyway.

Has anyone had good luck watching tv shows on the IPAD network apps?

Thx.
May not work...

Why can't I use Netflix or other streaming video websites?

Streaming video from a website requires extensive bandwidth and will not work as well on a plane as it does on the ground. Gogo's Entertainment on Demand content, available on select aircraft, requires a small amount of bandwidth by accessing video stored on the aircraft.
