Flying HKG-AUH next week and I saw this flight makes a technical stop in RUH. Any issues I should be aware of?

I wasn't advised of any visa restrictions, so my assumption is that the plane stops, if you are continuing on you stay onboard the aircraft, disembarking passengers get off and then the plane takes off again.

Has anyone taken this flight that can share their experiences? Probably paranoia but as a westerner, just a bit nervous about stopping in the Kingdom.
