The booking class does exist on the flight (typically on the BA codeshare) which is why it can be sold to you, you would be in the F cabin but it credits as per the booking class (check BA.com partner chart). It should not cost anymore but it depends on the fare rules.
Thanks. When you say it should not cost any more, do you mean booking F rather than I? The other segments are ticketing in J.
