I'd disagree somewhat with #9--maybe this is what it looks like to a blogger the hotel knows about but not to the rest of us--and would substitute hotel-hopping in its place. Anyone who doesn't play this game will absolutely not understand why someone would choose to stay in four different hotels in four nights. As I'll do on a November trip to San Diego in order to earn bonus points in three different programs.

Needless to say, I do those kinds of trips only when I'm traveling solo. . .
