I was unable to find a thread regarding the topic and decided to create one as I'm seeking advise and want to know what the other flyers dealt with while shopping for MR's.

Here is my dilemma - I booked a flight DCA-YYZ-FRA with online booking agency: Cheapoair.bomb I CAREFULLY reviewed the booking code to make sure I know what I was about to buy. The fare code clearly stated K class (which earns miles for my UA) - so I booked it. Needless to say - my connection flight between US and CA ended up being N class (NO VALUE for UA members). I called airline: they told me - it is an error - the fare was for K. I contacted agency - they refused to change it without me paying penalty and fee since I got the cheapest fare available. The person I spoke to was unwilling to even provide written explanation about my case. I know it sounds silly since I'm only fighting for about 500+ miles each way. But it is more of the point keeping the travel business straight forward and honest.

Can anyone share their experiences / suggestions???

Thanks and happy flying!
Do you have proof of the error?

Also, submit your complaint in writing. It is much more likely to be addressed that way.
