A lot more "for only $xxx more, you can sit in the premium cabin!" Prices for those fares are dropping dramatically. In many cases, a KUP/YUP/A/I fare might not be much more than full-fare Y....and oftentimes is even LESS! (yikes)
I agree, something has changed this month.
No love lately for this EXP re: comp sticker upgrade at the window opening. I am within 48 hours of my outbound domestic 757 flight and still in Y with "F7 P7 A7" and only 5 of 22 seats in F reserved. The plane looks lightly sold in Y, maybe 40% of coach seats taken.
The return is still outside the 100 hours, but it gives more insight. Y looks over 90% sold. Only 2 of 22 F are not reserved, and the plane is "F1
A1"... really? one last F seat to sell, but AA will let someone have it for an instrument.
