Can I just "ignore" an Avios account and start a new one?

OK, slightly strange questions but here goes:

I have an Avios.com account, which is (for reasons I can no longer remember) a Household Account with my father and his partner. I suspect this was something to do with my using my LTSBPDA 241 voucher to book flights for them a while back.

Now, the issue here is that I don't have a record of their Avios.com numbers, or the email addresses I would have created for their "accounts" (I know, I know).

This makes it very difficult to close the account.

Can I, therefore, empty this account and walk away from it and then open a new account from a fresh email account? Would this create any problems when I tried to send miles over from BAEC?

Or can anyone see an easier way out?
