Assuming they still haven't cleared when we arrive at LHR I want to stop by the AC to make sure all is in order and find out where we are in the queue.
Will we be able to go through security, etc as though I was a normal transit connection, visit the AC, then go from there to immigration? I assume BA will have provided us our AA BPs when we check in at WAW.
I'm not sure what your question really is, but let me explain how I'd suggest you let things roll: ...
Thanks. I have connected at LHR before and know how a normal connection would work. Since I will have been checked in by BA in WAW, when I get into LHR I want to talk to an AA agent to be sure we're properly queued up on the airport upgrade list. Since we are connecting (albeit a 20 hour connection) I thought we could follow the connections path upon arrival, talk to an agent in the AC or FL, then find our way from there to immigration. Am I hearing that is not possible?
If not, I suppose we could walk up to the ticket desk landside before leaving the airport.
And I am assuming that our bags will be checked through to the US, so no need to pick them up at LHR and recheck them the next morning, correct?
