I am going to fly about 45 one-way trips on Southwest Airlines over the next 6 months. Average of 8 trips a month. Each trip is about $175! So we're talking about $8000 in Southwest Airlines spend in 6 months, about $1400 a month.

My question is, which card or which combination of cards should I get? I've looked at all the threads so far and I'm quite confused on what is the best for my situation.

I am wondering if I should get a Southwest 50,000 miles card (while the offer is active!) Should I get TWO of these cards? And also, I am wondering what other cards (if any) would be best for my situation. I have really excellent credit!

I'm very new to this, so any advice is much appreciated!
