I agree. I think they are positive, but as I said they are not new. Wifi was decided and announced a year before the merger. E+ has been around for ages. My concern is with the current direction which, IMHO, is not at all positive.

Never taken advantage of it and I was pretty specific in talking about changes that "improve my flying experience."

The 787 and new routes it opens?
So now I have to fly J instead of GF on SEA<>NRT.

Club upgrades (not the booze) and terminal upgrades?
They under-speced the SEA club. (The two times I've tried to get in, there hasn't been an open seat.) I can barely tell the difference at ORD, and the only terminal UG (move) I've seen is at SEA, which just results in a longer walk.

A stronger business entity that you can count on to be around and not go BK?
With the current policies, UA has not IMHO made itself a stronger business entity..... and who cares if an airline goes into Chapter 11....it usually results in a better airline.

5K: What changes can UA make to put a smile on your face?
The list is long.

I understand some people are just pessimists by nature, but at some point you just come across (to me) as a whiner...
Don't think so. If you've read any of my other posts, I'm pretty complimentary about UA. Personally I'm still quite happy with UA, and I think it beats the pants off the other US carriers (especially DL). I'm just worried about the direction in which it is headed.

As I said, there hasn't been a single change since the merger which has improved my flying experience. I'm just being objective.
