Far too often FT becomes an elite driven forum for my tastes. I have stayed at elite hotels with status and flop-house Hostels and I would appreciate that FT deals not become a space reserved for only chain or status conscious properties.

Thanks Frank... it is good to see that someone is not OFFENDED by me sharing a mistake rate...

Everyone has a different taste when it comes to hotels, some of us can afford luxury hotels, but if there is one person who ended up booking this deal, then it was already worth it.

As a golden rule to my Canadian friend: If you do not like it, DO NOT BOOK IT!
