Excuse my ignorance, but isn't the First Class Lounge completely separate from the Concorde Lounge?

They do indeed. In fact the kitchen runs between the refectory area of Flounge right along to the side of the CCR dining area, it's a north to south long galley basically, with doors at both ends into each lounge.
