Getting excellent deal on J fares might be
the primary reason to put LAX into the flight schedule, but keep abreast of those sales from your corner of the continent. You are right that time is on your side but so is the period you are considering. Until about 2nd week of June, TPAC's are usually running lighter loads and spring is a period where there are often good deals.
