In the case OF BA my pressure points, in equal order of priority:
(1) Price. Anything 20 per cent plus or more than the competitor for comparable journey time and I'm off. As now, when Ba is 30 per cent more in CW than everyone else on the DEL-LHR nonstop route CW is good, but not that good. 9Ws herringbone or a connection to LCY thru MUC/ZRH is good enough for me.
(2) decline in CC Service. To me BA CC Are, still, the best asset BA has. If that changes I'm off. As I did during the troubles of 2009-2010.
(3) T5: any further deterioration in the quality of transit means BA is off my list for my India US/ Brazil flights... I'm then doing EK or QR
(4) deterioration in product quality. Thus I no longer bother flying F with BA, I use LH/EK instead for transcontinental, and 9W to London. BA F is to me now one of the worst in the mkt. On the other hand WT + and CW continue to be superb products.
