I don't mind using the points for one night as much as making sure it would be something noticeablly better than a standard room.
It will certainly be noticeably larger than the standard room. I've stayed in several suites here and the thing you have to remember is that this is largely a business/convention hotel. So the suites are more business focused than leisure-focused.

In each case, the suites I've been in where large with essentially a bedroom comparable in size to the standard room with some upgraded features, then a much larger second room-- with dining/meeting table for 8; a good-sized sitting area with another TV; kitchen/butler area; and a powder room.

There is an upgraded version of this room which includes a large desk between the table and living space with a flat panel computer on it; a substantially upgraded bathroom in the bedroom area with separate tub and walk-in shower; and a larger kitchen area, including an Nespresso machine with supplied pods.

These rooms are very large. They're excellent for business meeting and working purposes. I think they're less exciting for leisure purposes -- lots of space you probably won't use.

Finally I think SquareDanceGuy may be on to something for you. The suites at the Grand Hyatt, which I've been in on several occasions, are smaller but still spacious and will probably feel more like a luxurious suite than the large meeting/working suite you'll get at the Hyatt Regency.
