I'm here, quietly making toast as fast as I can on my collection of 42 Aeroplan toasters.

As someone who isn't been able to redeem my large stack of Aeroplan miles for any flights that I'd want, I'd welcome Aeroplan opening up redemption options with other airlines, should AC fail / scale back considerably. Unlikely to happen though. Meanwhile, Aeroplan becomes less and less a frequent flyer loyalty program, and more and more a (uncompetitive) shopping program.
