Haven't seen much discussion on this, so either its a non-issue, or it hasn't been brought up.

In previous AC releases, Milton suggests that Air Canada and Aeroplan are seperate, distinct entities suggesting that all members' AP points are safe, and if the airline goes under, the points are still 'safe'.

I'm not totally convinced, so how safe do you think your miles are? I imagine then, that if AP goes down with AC, the question becomes when/is AC going to run out of cash, and go belly-up?
