Had a bad day yesterday but I agree DUS airport isn't the worst though it does have some quirks

While we're on the topic of Grrr Dusseldorf a few other observations

Does anyone ever buy a ticket for the strange "hanging basket" transit system that runs to the mainline railway station , the terminals and the parking garage ? - There are vending machines selling them (for a fairly adventurous 1.50EUR one way, but no one seems to buy a ticket .. it would be a bit like having to buy a ticket for the shuttle between South and North Terminal in Gatwick)

The fact that the airport has the S11 Line S-Bahn station under the Terminal C but then all the other trains (including the different S-Bahn lines other than S11) go from the other station that you have to take the 1.50EUR hanging train to .. As the trains to/from the airport aren't terrifically frequent from either station it might be useful if they had some clear indicators in the terminal for departures from both stations .. it would save some time wasting .. I don't think there are any indicators until you get to the platform by which time it's too late really

Are "warm vegetable balls" (sort of like corn and carrot fritters) acceptable lounge food ? - Gotta be one of the stranger snacks I've seen.
