Is it just me or is this hotel going completely downhill? Had this girl called Jane at the club check me in, and she was so surly! She looked extremely unhappy throughout the entire process. Tried making small talk and she just gave monosyllabic yes sir no sir answers.

Same thing at checkout. Clerk at the front desk -- think his name was Jaypee -- all very surly. No thank you no please and, in fact, didn't say anything at all! Only thing he said was "Your credit card?"
