We did this flight around a fortnight ago. There is little difference between JQ and QF due to their 'business' products. We don't believe the price difference for QF is worth it.

It is an overnight flight, and it took 2 Xanax for me to get 4 hours sleep.

You may be able to purchase an upgrade at check in, but am always surprised as how full JQ Business is.
