From an AC communique:
"Target hits the mark with awards – our 65th Anniversary aircraft wins gold. Recently, the advertising agency Target Marketing & Communications Inc., which created the name and brand of Air Canada Tango and Air Canada Jazz, won 12 creative advertising awards at the 2003 Summit Creative Awards. The agency received a Gold Award for its conceptual design of Air Canada’s 65th Anniversary aircraft – the design incorporated more than 40,000 employee names in the shape of a giant maple leaf. In the April 30 edition of the new Horizons (found on Aeronet under Communications or
www.achorizons.ca), there’s an article which explains how employees can purchase a souvenir photo of the plane with a blowup of their name. Proceeds will be donated to Dreams Take Flight."
The only gold in my book would be: Gold for improved service!
Sorry AC. Nice designs don't attract and retain frequent flyers. Top notch service does!!!!!
