Now that's just nasty. I'd rather sit next to a drunken, un-showered rugby team than be in a metal tube with someone eating durian.
As for the chewin' tobacco thing, was it chaw/plug or dip? If they were really considerate, they'd "gut" it rather than spit.
On another note...what do y'all do to combat "I've just eaten German food for a week and now I am on a plane back to Boston" gas?
