I keep seeing DL AmEx card offers on the booking page, after selecting flights where delta.dumb tries to upsell a FC or flexible ticket, when I'm not logged in. I wonder whether starting to purchase a very expensive ticket, such as NYC-NRT in BE, would result in a good offer that one could use without purchasing the ticket. Would this be evil?
