Not in November. The BOS-FRA late flight is seasonal and doesn't operate in Nov., which means about an 8-hour layover. The FCL is terrific, but not for 8 hours. You could take the complimentary day room at the local hotel, but that still makes it a crazy long trip. You're right. I had forgotten the OP was going in November. ...but I've actually taken the afternoon LH flight a few times when I had nothing to do in BOS and then just headed into the city to hangout for a few hours at FRA...... and, the fees are minimal if you book with UA miles ($80 roundtrip), and I never have any problem getting seats in F on they days I want (I've done it a half a dozen times in the last year). FRA<>NRT in particular is a piece of cake.
