Quickest way to activate is to do some shopping. It can be a very small amount.

Via Topbonus tab in centre top of Air Berlin homepage. Choose the "partner" you want. Check how long it takes for their points to be credited first, though if it's shopping. IB has a similar e-shop and the usual hotel and car partner opportunities on their site. I'm not sure if transferring a small amount of miles from your BA Avios or your Avios Avios account to Iberia Avios counts as activating your IB account.. personally I'd try it as you can always transfer them back again later!. IB has had the odd game you can play on their website as a member and earn a few points in the past.
