First of all: CM is the Songkran Headquarter and it lasts overall at least 8 days!!! Seems it takes longer each year.

Secondly. The novelty factor is gone after 3 minutes. All the time the same. Only noise, screeming kids, and water, water, water. Secially in CM the water taken out from the moat is very questionable (=dirty).

Since last year throwing water on people from a pickup truck is strictly forbidden. Of course the BIB (boys in brown = police) would not even come close. Their already thight uniforms might shrink even more.

After more than 7 years in Thailand, I schedule my trips to see family and friends abroad around this time. Living now in a small Norther village, even here no one is save
