Config is 2 - 3 - 2 so only one seat next to you. That and there is no seat in front ot recline into your space. That was the good news, now for the bad... On some aircraft, you will not have a window. Not very much leg room as the bulkhead goes all the way to the floor because of the lav (continouous flushing). Depending on the aircraft (ex CP), you may not be able to see the video screen.

My view is to get out of there. As far as upgrades, I am of the view that if you do not ask, you do not get. Clearly it will depend on fare + status. Check seat maps to see if there is a place where you can stretch out over two or three seats (which will be further back of the bus).
