We booked our recent Seabourn cruise 10 months in advance. Our travel agent continuously checked the rates on our cabin and as they came down she called Seabourn for us and we got the lower rate. I think the cost came down three or four times and we saved 1-2k pp total from when we booked to the time of our final payment.

This past summer, we cruised Singapore>Shanghai. I knew I needed a Visa for China, but I wasn't sure about Vietnam. I emailed my travel agent to find out if I needed to obtain a Visa for Vietnam before I left the US....and instead of answering my question, she emailed me a link to travel.state.gov for me to look it up myself! I was so mad. She did absolutely nothing for us and I bought 2 cabins on this cruise.
So if you know of a good travel agent. Please send a link.
