Thanks for all the responses. I once had several hours to kill before connecting to an international flight at SFO and went through security at T2 just because I wanted to check out the food options and the Yoga Room :-) Of course, I had to re-clear before catching the next flight.

It sounds like I might need to get out of the secure area myself (I'll be flying from MOD), meet him in the main hall, and perhaps have both of us clear security to the G gates together. Then, he'll need to exit and re-clear to get to his A gate.

Will the United Club (or the Kris lounge) attendant give me a bad time if I show up twice: once by myself, and the second time with him?
