Smile Overbooking and Interline Baggage

I purchased two Business Class tickets from United Airlines

Ticket 1 = BAH-IST-BAH on TK in J class
Ticket 2 = IST-ORD-IST on UA (UA metal)

Both Tickets are on UA stock (016) and I have two different confirmation numbers for the BAH-IST-BAH leg, one being in the UA system and a different one in the TK system.

I noticed that J class on the BAH-IST leg is sold out on the date of my flight.

Question 1: How often does TK overbook J class and what do they do when there is an oversale of Business Class ?

Question 2: I will begin my journey at BAH with an ultimate destination of ORD. Do you see any hassles with checking my bags thru to ORD or will TK make me collect my bags at IST and recheck them with United ? I have a 5 hour layover in IST, but I don't relish buying a Turkish Visa and having to collect my bags only to re-check them.

Your keen insight is appreciated.
